ABC 4 Corners to run another anti-gun hit piece

fouadmin October 21, 2018 ABC, News 3 Comments

Yeh, this looks real impartial and objective:

The very fact that the ABC has wheeled out fake professor Philip Alpers for comment instantly undermines the ABC’s credibility, not that it has much these days anyway.

We’ll reserve judgment until we’ve seen this in it’s entirety but if the grab is anything to go by, then it’s going to be more of the same ABC formula. That being, anti-firearm with lip service to a few pro-gun opinions. The premise also seems to be the usual confected outrage re: how dare the million plus Australians who own firearms be represented politically?

The main reason this is being aired is an attack against the Flick’Em campaign and Bob Katter for their campaigns at the Queensland election. Put simply, the majors are scared of the rising minor party and firearm owner vote.

Michelle Fernando seems to be the token victim they’ve dragged out. Access to guns is “so casual” hey Michelle? Spoken like someone who has no idea about the process involved. Illegally yes, legally no.

Story airs tonight at 8:30pm AEST.

Definitely a hit piece against gun owners. The tone in the narrator’s voice (along with what’s been alerted to me as “Michelle Fernando”), the fast camera angles… Yeah I couldn’t watch something like this, just as it makes me feel ill when I’ve watched Q & A in the past.

I wonder if Michelle would be asking the same question about mass knifing attacks or road incidents? I mean when it comes to cars — how dare you! You are polluting the environment and think about all those people that have been killed in road incidents! Michelle would just say “THEY’RE ACCIDENTS!” There’s a new term for people like Michelle who don’t have a rational mind set — NPC’s — Non Playing Characters.

Another one sided report. It would be nice if you could present a balanced report and have impartial story tellers ( yes it is not reporting ) instead of slanting stories to suit you’re own minority opinion

Michelle Fernando is a petulant liar with no integrity or credibility . She and her siblings knew of her sisters (illegal ) involvement with the pistol club for months prior yet said nothing…then turned around and blamed the shooting club when things went pear shaped and their father was murdered. Her blaming of ‘the gun laws’ is nothing more than a dishonest whitewash of her own complicity in what happened . Another ‘useful idiot’ for the ‘gun safety alliance’ that takes their membership base from 4 to 5 members

Firearm Owners United

Firearm Owners United was founded in response to the many hysterical voices crying out for further gun control in this country. We already go through so many hoops to get our firearms as it is. We do not need more hoops. We don’t need a mother/father figure deciding what’s the best for us. We are Law Abiding Firearm Owners, and we are sick of being treated like second-class citizens.
