Faketriot Latham calls for more gun laws

fouadmin March 16, 2019 Uncategorized 5 Comments

Called it:

Well done Jacinda Ardern in tightening NZ gun laws to bring them into line with Aust.
Due to 1996 Howard laws our country has been blessed to avoid public massacres for 23 yrs.
These laws also respect rights of law abiding recreational shooters.
NSW One Nation supports them 100%

— Real Mark Latham (@RealMarkLatham) March 16, 2019

Kiss over a million votes goodbye, Pauline. Wasn’t surprising after we revealed One Nation and the Nationals are financially, and now ideologically, in bed.

One Nation have pussied out and allowed themselves to capitulate to the wave of fake emotion in the wake of Christchurch. However, this was always coming from Latham.

That aside, this appears to be a recurrent psychological theme when it comes to political parties and mass shootings. I.e. run on supporting firearm rights and then allow themselves to get bullied by people standing on graves feigning outrage.

Ridiculous but a recurrent theme. Note to other parties: take the Leyonhjelm approach and not back down. Appeasement gets you nowhere, if you haven’t already realised.

If you’re voting pro-firearm then it’s quite simple, One Nation is off the list, at least in NSW.

You can take the man out of the Labor Party, but you can’t take the Labor Party out of the man.

“Due to 1996 Howard laws our country has been blessed to avoid public massacres for 23 yrs.”

How the fuck do they keep repeating this garbage and not being called out for it?

    Monash University Shooting – 2002
    Lindt Cafe Siege – 2014
    Osmington shooting – 2018

Not to mention the Melbourne car attacks in 2017 and plenty of other smaller, mostly domestically-related shooting murders of 5 or less.

The NFA has not made Australia immune to mass shootings or spree killings.

this is a Latham problem not a one nation thing, PHONP has a firearms policy that is contradictory to Latham’s claims

however PHONP wants to keep most of the NFA intact but clear up red tape and allow SEMI auto for sports shooting and hunting. this i see as a step in the right direction. Pauline her self has said the law abiding shooters aren’t at fault, they didn’t commit the shootings.

@RealMarkLatham, Aus/NZ both need equivalent of 2nd Amendment to US Constitution. Not to advocate for that is an inducement to Indonesia & China to fly in, sail in, drop paratroopers over, to put down revolt when we all realize that we’ve been sold out by criminal politicians.

Firearm Owners United

Firearm Owners United was founded in response to the many hysterical voices crying out for further gun control in this country. We already go through so many hoops to get our firearms as it is. We do not need more hoops. We don’t need a mother/father figure deciding what’s the best for us. We are Law Abiding Firearm Owners, and we are sick of being treated like second-class citizens.
