This ‘leader’ is just another globalist idiot:
72 hours – record time for a gun grab (or anything government related).
Time for Jacinda to don the bullet proof vest and address some rural gun owners, and then the copy and paste job will be complete.
So in other words, before they even know or have investigated what has gone wrong in Christchurch, which as we’ve seen with the Lindt Café can take years, they’ve decided to rush through gun laws without thinking, proper consultation, debate, scrutiny, transparency or input from the public.
Disregard the massive failure of security agencies and Police – take the guns and shut up, or you might end up in the prison showers.
In other words, they aren’t blaming gun owners, they’re just taking your property away because you can’t be trusted.
Forgive our cynicism but considering government often takes years to draft legislation properly, it’s not a stretch to imagine that a draft thereof was already prepared and they were just waiting for the opportune time – as we said yesterday it’s John Howard all over again. It’s partly Kabuki Theatre.
Not a stretch at all considering that time and again, Kiwi gun owners have defeated the Police, Chris Cahill and government over the last 5 years and their repeated attempts to introduce more gun laws.
Jacinda Ardern is not a leader by any stretch of the imagination. She’s a coward hiding behind the raw emotion of a catastrophic event to implement an ideological gun grab. The cringeworthy fawning by the sycophantic press of this imaginary ‘leadership’ doesn’t change anything – you are not courageous by stealing the property of and punitively punishing 250,000 of your own citizens for the actions of one person. If that’s not the epitome of cowardice, then what is?
All this from the so-called progressive crowd that are all about non-discrimination and equality.
In short, she’s afraid.
The question to be asked is: what were Winston Peters and NZ First threatened with, or did they just sell out like the Nationals did in 1996?
Give them nothing.
