Right on cue, David Leyonhjelm has slapped down Gun Control Australia’s baseless hysteria on Sky News over the Verney-Carron Veloce:
Spot on.
As we said before, it’s classic Gun Control Australia tactics. Pick a random firearm, assign arbitrary and non-defined characteristics to it and create hysteria (and sped up videos) in the hope of getting more restrictions through. They’ve done this with the Adler, tried it on with the Pardus and are now trying it on with the Verney-Carron – a firearm that is already available in Australia in rifle form.
The highlight of this interview:
Tom Connell: This would be easier to fire off shots than a standard weapon wouldn’t it?
David Leyonhjelm: What’s a standard weapon?
Tom Connell: Good point
Just your daily reminder that the Australian mainstream press have no idea about firearms and an agenda to boot.
We’ll put your above quote on a “bumper sticker” for you, Tom.
Fix your damn SSL cert!!!!
Good on Leyonhjelm though!!
I say once again. We need to say no. We need to organise a march/rally. With shooters union. Dont know if ssaa care or would do anything. But shooters need to march. None since 97. Its about time or we will lose eveything.
